⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Bright Side of Christmas by Morgan Elizabeth
Short Synopsis:
Wren King is the heart of Holly Ridge—the go-to girl for childcare, baked goods, and keeping Christmas alive. This year, as head of the town’s decorating committee after her grandmother’s passing, she’s determined to make the holiday brighter than ever… even if it completely exhausts her. Enter Adam Porter, her new next-door neighbor: a famous songwriter battling writer’s block who absolutely hates Christmas. When Adam refuses to decorate and threatens a sixty-year town tradition, a festive battle of wills begins—complete with forced proximity, sharp banter, and a whole lot of holiday cheer Wren is convinced she can share.
My Review:
I absolutely loved this book. I could not get enough of the banter between Wren and Adam—it was top-tier and had me smiling the entire time. I also deeply related to Wren as someone who does everything for everyone, often at the expense of herself, and I felt so seen in her character.
Adam completely stole my heart. I loved his protective nature paired with that tough exterior hiding a total teddy bear inside. He’s easily one of my favorite MMCs, and I could honestly read about these two all day.
Heartwarming, funny, and full of holiday magic—this book is everything I want in a Christmas romance. Such a good read, and an easy 5 stars for me 🎄✨
