She had a good job, a happy home with her parents and she had her eye on a handsome lad called Ronnie, who played in a local band. When Jeanie starts having dreams about the mysterious Kendra and the village of Shipden, which had lain under the sea off the coast of Cromer for five centuries, she wonders what is going on. Soon, as her life develops, her visions of Kendra develop until their lives almost seem to run parallel, until tragedy strikes in the fourteenth century when Jeanie suddenly finds out how the local legend of the Warning Bell of Shipden was born.But what is this to do with Jeanie? And why is it so important to her and her new husband and unborn baby - and to her neighbours?
