PSA - This book is a DARK ROMANCE, please ensure you read the content warnings before you delve into either of the Beg books.

All I can say is OMFG! The experience and emotional rollercoaster I went on with this story was something else. I thought I was a mess after reading book 1, Beg Me, last week but this was a whole different level.

WITH HER FUCKING TEETH?! (IYKYK)

This book most definitely nearly broke me. I cried several times, screamed at my kindle and wanted to get stabby with Janice on multiple occasions. The villains (yes, there is more than one) are just diabolically vile, and when their backstories are revealed... even the devil himself might have spit these two back out.

My emotional connection with the characters only grew stronger the more pages I read. Especially with Janice, the way she is holding those boys together whilst being terrified for Olive as well really resonated with me. It was wonderful to see such a dynamic relationship form between the 4 of them too. This book isn't just a romance, it's pure love and soulmates but in the most unhinged way. I LOVE IT!

I really enjoyed the character development in this book, lots of trauma bonding and exploration of dealing with pain, loss, fear, hatred and revenge. The dynamic between Jayce, Zander and Janice without Olive is heartbreakingly beautiful. The way they support each other and talk each other down is just wonderful to read.

The spice in this book is Muy Caliente! With this being a polyam dynamic, there's MM, MF, FF, MMF and MMFF and all other possible combinations between Jayce, Olive, Janice and Zander. So be prepared because it gets hot, sweaty and messy!

Moony Luve really has my soul as a reader now. Her writing is glorious, her spice is HOT AF and her characters are perfection wrapped in trauma and violence.

I can't give this enough stars. I highly recommend if you love dark, violent, tension filled romance with strong queer representation and a happy ending (eventually).
