This book right here is the completely immersive experience with Mindhunter meets Criminal Minds vibes! With its Spotify playlist to set the vibe, and real-life illustrations from the real-life Zodiac killer, which I spent some time referring back to find the clues myself. You really feel like you’re in the time of notorious serial killers like Mason, Zodiac, and Bundy. Mock’s writing is superb, with amazing character development, making you empathize, love, hate and despise each characters. The way he writes a murder scene in reverse literally blew my mind! You can see this story play out in your mind as if you’re watching a movie! You’re sure to be on the edge of your seat the entire time. Oh, and that ending! I absolutely did not see that coming!
