This is the 5th of the 6 Creature Feature stories I've listened to and is definitely top 3 so far. There was no hiding what this story was, and there didn't nee to be. The set-up might have been a bit too long for the overall length, I think we could have gotten the gist of the characters (esp. Rachel) simply without so much ado, but it did build both parents up to be multi-dimensional with issues of their own well beyond the obvious.
I didn't love the jumping around in point of views, as sometimes it felt jarring (this may be due to the audio being single narration - though the narrator did a good job capturing the different voices).
The bit of twist at the end with Mason was a nice surprise, and the not-happy ending was also a bit unexpected. A solid addition in the collection,. I look forward to my next day at the gym to start the final story.
