Let's Go Play at the Adams

Barbara is a 20 year old student hired to babysit Bobby and Cindy Adams while their parents are on vacation to Europe. Barbara loves the children and takes them swimming and enjoys her time with them. Until after a rough night of sleeping, Barbara wakes up gagged and bound to the bed. Will Barbara have the strength to endure and to get free? Why is this happening?

The book is tense, brutal, and pretty bleak. I found it to be pretty quick and often really graphic. It feels a bit like all we’re sitting through for pages is torture and more torture. Skip this one if you are not into that kind of story. It’s a very dark story.
