This one just didn't quite do it for me. I think it is really hard to have so much time pass in such a short book when you stop and visit many scenes along the way and most of it just felt too surface-level for me, each event had long stretches in between so I never got a good handle on how their relationship was actually progressing, and thus never connected.
If it weren't so short, I wouldn't have finished it, as it was I skimmed the last chapter and epilogue (also I HATE an epilogue that jumps to a new character, so there wasn't any winning me back there)
