Intense and gripping

Nick and Kate find themselves at the end of civilization as we know it. They must find a way to safety, but the path will not be easy. They will meet several others along the way who are not there to help.

This was a great story! Highly recommend!

With a cover like that, who doesn't want to pick up this book? I love post-apocalyptic stories. This one was told really well, not only dealing with the obvious challenges that the infected would present, the constant fight for survival, and the search for food, but also the trauma endured by those left behind as they struggle to carry on in this new world.

It's safe to say that I fell in love with the characters in this story, and I thought about this book even when I wasn't reading it. This is the second book I've read by Molly Macabre, and I really enjoy her writing style.
