Okay, I absolutely adored this story. Maeve totally stole my heart—watching her figure out love, life, and all the messy stuff in between was such a treat. Maeve is funny, thoughtful, and figuring things out one awkward step at a time.
Now enter Frank: flannel-wearing, rugged but soft and emotionally available. Their chemistry? Off the charts. Sweet, awkward, and then—bam—suddenly you’re fanning yourself and wondering how a first kiss can feel that electric. The spicy scenes are tender, grounded, and just enough to make you blush and grin at the same time.
Kristina nails the small-town charm, the late-bloomer vulnerability, and the kind of romance that makes you believe in second chances. It’s cozy, it’s swoony, and it’s got just the right amount of heat.
If you love emotionally rich love stories with a side of spice, a FMC who grows into her own, and a lumberjack who knows how to show up, this one’s a must-read.
