"The Author" is a new psychological thriller by Jeff Scott, and I was given an advance reader copy at no cost, but this is my unbiased review. I definitely did not see that ending coming! I thought I had it figured out about 1/4 of the way through. I was so wrong! I loved the reference to Caleb Crowe and Mark Jenkins and his Facebook group. Parts of it were quite humorous like his obsession with Freida and a certain other Facebook group, but it seemed quite repetitive at times. Overall I enjoyed it though.
