Bone Lake (Nikki Hunt #8)

Stacy Green has done it again with another fantastic instalment in the Nikki Hunt series!
As always, I was hooked by the prologue, set in 2001 where a family are brutally murdered, and just the young boy survives, jumping forward to the present day where more brutal murders happen in the same house as the previous one years ago. It is up to Nikki and her team to find out what happened and who did it and try to find Alexia who is missing.

This was so good, so many suspects that I was clueless on who could have done it. Liam did annoy me a little as he was so sure who did it, it was getting on my nerves.
I liked that even now Nikki’s backstory from book one is mentioned, it is relevant. I was a little sad that there weren’t many home-life things happening in this one, it was purely the case. I would also like to see more family moments with Nikki, Rory and Lacey.
I have loved this series and feel much more is coming from Nikki Hunt.
