What a debut novel, kudos to Lindsey for such a fantasic book!! I'm amazed still that this is a debut novel! Lindsey knows how to tell a story!

“Kept in the Dark” is a story that combines mystery, suspense, trauma and a touch of romance.
It delivers a suspenseful storyline that kept me on the edge of my seat! It was a wild ride! The book opens with a powerful punch—a shattered family, a wrongful conviction, and a quest to right a wrong. Lindsey seamlessly blends together the past and present, revealing layers and layers of secrets. The characters' complex relationships add depth to the plot. Yes that is plural, lol. Surprisingly all of them have some sort of issue with another character. Lol.

Brace yourself for unexpected and shocking revelations. Just when you think you’ve figured it out, Lindsey throws you a curveball.

The pacing kept me flipping through the pages, and the suspense kept mounting. This book will make you feel all sorts of emotions for the main characters - empathy, dislike, and hope.
I highly recommend reading this book!!
