The book was a slow start for me. I didn't really care for Sev at the beginning but he grew on me as the story progressed. His friendship with Wes is threatened when Wes' 21-year-old daughter Maisie begins working at his company. There is an instant attraction but because of who Maisie is and her age, Sev doesn't act on his impulses. Instead he begins to stalk her. For 2 YEARS!!
I loved Maisie's character. She knew what she wanted and she was not afraid to go after it, albeit in a cute and manipulative way. The tension between the characters and the little bits of spice were placed perfectly in the plot and moved it along. The showdown had me giggling and gasping while the epilogue was cute. I liked this little novella and plan to read the previous books about Sev's brothers ASAP!
