Malice

I found this recommended by a book a friend and thought it would be a good series to carry me over until my favorite author’s final book was released (tomorrow!!!) I was pleasantly surprised- I love a good epic fantasy but some (cough cough ::GRRM:: cough cough) have SO many plot lines going at once you almost need to take notes. Gwynne had enough characters and concurrent plot lines running to keep things interesting and keep you wondering how things will intertwine, but without dizzying your brain. I especially found myself drawn into Corban’s chapters. I look forward to finishing this series as soon as I finish Kingdom of Shadow and Light, by Karen Marie Moning.
