Stolen Hearts: A Small Town, Opposites Attract Romance (The Hearts and Roses Series Book 1)

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Ember is a richly developed character. I love how she wasn't just a bad or good girl. Her past was really reflected in her present. Jacob is her polar opposite... strict and regimented. They seemed perfect for each other, but could the strict officer be with the morally ambiguous Ember? The playful banter was absolutely delightful. I had several laugh-out-loud moments. Some parts of the book were satisfying, while others weren't, suggesting a sequel is planned. I hope.
