This book is truly indescribable.
I absolutely enjoyed every bit of it!
The story is truly captivating as it delves into the lives of three "siblings": Alex, Seb, and Emilia. Throughout the book, we witness their journey from childhood to adulthood, filled with love, challenges, and personal growth.
This novel beautifully explores the essence of family and the intricate dynamics that bind them together. Raquel's writing immerses you in the characters' experiences, feeling their joy and sorrow. It compels you to support some characters while feeling frustration towards others.
Growing up in Philadelphia, and being Italian hearing the word “gravy” for sauce, and Sunday family dinners hit close to home. I’m have two younger brothers so I was able to relate to some of the family dynamics.
If you appreciate tales about family, personal development, and life's complexities, “Games of Chance”is a must-read!
