Loved this book, it was sweet, it was spicy and it was adorably romantic in a not so traditional way.
Emma is a sarcastic, sweet loving, sparkly pink parka wearing Fox and West is a grumpy, lumberjack looking lone Wolf. Ending up together on the night of the winter solstice was not on their bingo card.
However, a forgetful grandmother (pretty sure she did it on purpose), a snowmobile and a surprise blizzard brings them face to face with something far more tasty than Christmas cookies.
Emma is a very true to life character, apart from all the pink, I feel very familiar with how she is portrayed. She's been hurt, in a quite a publicly humiliating way and now she has given up on all the fated mate, destiny stuff and with good reason if you ask me.
West is everything you want in a Wolf shifter that lives alone in the woods. He's big, he's grumpy, he drinks whiskey and doesn't eat cookies... until Emma falls into his life that is. His immediate dislike for her despite coming to her rescue has you knowing that they are meant to be together.
Only one bed, a snow storm and only one way to keep warm means the spice is deliciously good but not distracting from the story and the tender sweet moments balance it out perfectly.
I recommend this book to anyone that loves a grumpy/sunshine romance and I look forward to reading the other books in the Cozy Christmas Collection.
