Caging Ella (Dark and Twisted Fairy Tales)

A dark, vampiric twist on the classic Cinderella tale... but definitely not the sparkly kind. This one dives into captivity, desire, and a brooding vampire prince who has his sights set on Ella - the daughter of his maid, not the fairytale princess we're used to.
I loved the paranormal fairy-tale vibes and the eerie, twisted world Andie M. Long created. But the pacing and the darker themes didn't always land for me, and I found myself wanting more development before the romance fully clicked.
If you enjoy dark retellings, morally gray vampires, and wicked worlds with a happily-ever-after, this one might be your jam. For me, it was an intriguing concept that hit good, not great.
