Dead Inside
A young hospital security guard with a disturbingly unique taste in women. A maternity doctor with a horrifically unusual appetite. When the two of them meet, they embark on a journey of self-discovery while shattering societal norms and enraging in destructively aberrant behavior. As they unwittingly help each other understand a world in which neither of them seems to belong, they begin to realize what it truly means to be alive...and that might not always be a good thing. --back of the book

A sweet love story of a hospital security guard who meets a prestigious maternity ward doctor. The story follows their heartwarming adventures as they navigate life in a very unique way. As they open up to each other, they discover that they aren’t as alone in life as they thought. They both have certain “predilections” that aren’t exactly accepted in mainstream society.
This book is certainly not for the faint of heart. It’s brutal. It’s visceral. It’s actually pretty funny in places. I expected a lot worse than it delivered, but what it delivered was definitely a very unusual story. The characters grow and develop through the pages and we are lucky (or unlucky depending on your viewpoint) to join them in their journey.
Check the triggers before you dive in. Once you turn that first page, you are in for a ride.
