I don’t even know where to start with The Night We Met… except to say this was another absolute 5-star read from Abby Jimenez—and I fell HARD.
This one felt a little different from her usual style, but in the best way. It still had everything I’ve come to love in her writing, just with an extra emotional depth that really stuck with me.
Chris? Immediately obsessed. He’s the kind of MMC that just sweeps you off your feet from the very beginning—the definition of fairytale love. And Larissa… my heart. You can’t help but root for her after everything she’s been through. I found myself so invested in her getting the happiness she truly deserved.
This story has everything—love, grief, heavy moments, and those quiet, breathtaking scenes that just hit you out of nowhere. Abby has this way of telling stories that feel incredibly real and relatable, even if you haven’t lived those exact experiences.
And the friend group? Loved them. They added so much warmth and depth to the story.
This is one of those books that completely melts your heart and stays with you after you finish.
