Trigger Warning

"Everything I've ever said I will do; I have done... and now I am going to kill someone."
On the surface, my life seems normal-picturesque, even. To anyone on the outside, I'm just another woman with a smile on her face, going about her day. But they don't see what's behind the closed doors. They don't see the cracks in the facade or hear the screams in the silence.
Every single day has been a fight. Not to live-no, I gave up on that idea a long time ago-but to survive. To exist. There's no peace, no rest. Every moment feels like walking on the edge of a knife, waiting for the next twist of his cruelty to cut me. And he thrives on it.
He doesn't just ruin things; he plans it. He watches me closely, waits for those rare moments when I allow myself to hope-when I think maybe, just maybe, I'll have a moment of joy. Even something as small as seeing the Christmas lights, something that used to feel magical to me. He knew how much I looked forward to it. And he made sure to destroy it, to rip it away from me like everything else I ever cared about.
I'm so tired. Tired of pretending everything is fine. Tired of smiling when I'm dying inside. Tired of waiting for something to change when I know deep down it never will.
But tonight, that changes. Tonight, I stop waiting.
"It didn't start this way... but now it's what I must do. I will stop his reign of evil on women if it's the last thing I do."
I don't care what it takes. I've reached the end of the line. If I have to become the monster, so be it. Because he will never hurt me again. He will never hurt anyone again.
This isn't about justice. It's about survival. And tonight, I take my life back-or die trying.

Audiobook Review – Trigger Warning by Tina S. Transformation
Narrated by: Abigail Stever

Trigger Warning is the kind of story that pulls you in from the very first word and doesn’t let go. I felt completely immersed in the characters’ experiences, almost as if I were living through them myself. Tina S. Transformation doesn’t just write a story—she makes you feel it.

The narrator, Abigail Stever, was the perfect choice for this book. Her voice captured every emotion with such precision that my mind never wandered. She brought the characters to life in a way that made every moment hit even harder.

This story does tackle heavy themes—particularly domestic violence and abuse—so please check the trigger warnings before diving in. That said, it handles these topics with raw honesty and courage.

Lucinda and Allison are both absolute powerhouses—strong, resilient, and deeply human. And the MMC? Let’s just say justice was served, and it was satisfying.

This was my first book by Tina S. Transformation, but it absolutely won’t be my last. I’m officially hooked and plan to devour everything she’s written and everything that’s still to come.

If you’re looking for a powerful, emotional, and brutally honest story that sheds light on real-life issues while still delivering hope and strength, this is the book for you. It’s a reminder that behind every smile, there could be a storm, and stories like this deserve to be told.

From the outside, she looks like any other woman: put together, polite, maybe even content. But behind the closed doors of her home, she's living in a constant nightmare. Every small joy is taken from her. Every flicker of hope is crushed by a man who thrives on control and cruelty. She’s exhausted. Broken. And done waiting for change. Tonight, she decides enough is enough. This isn't about justice. It's survival. She’s not asking for peace anymore. She’s taking it.

Spillin’ the Book Tea:
What can you expect from a Tina S Transformation book? Real. Raw. No fluff, no filler. Just truth, and the kind that hurts. Trigger Warning is fast-paced and brutally honest, and it tackles one of the most horrifying topics: domestic abuse. The rage I felt reading this was very real. This story doesn't pull punches, and it shouldn't. I love that Tina delivers short books that hit hard and still feel full. The twists? Didn’t see them coming. And the emotion? It's in every sentence. Thank you to Tina S Transformation for the ALC and the opportunity to provide this candid review!
