The Doctor's Widow (The Doctor's Wife, #2)

I absolutely loved the Doctor's Wife and was ecstatic to learn he was writing a part 2! I couldn't wait to see what Fern, Alice, and "Roger" were up to. Well here we are: Fern is now living the good life, off her cheating husband's life insurance. Alice is sitting in jail thanks to Fern setting her up for Drew's death. And "Roger" aka Greg is trying to solve the mystery of who killed his 'friend" Drew as he has an inkling it's Fern and not Alice. As for Greg I'm still trying to figure out his creepy obsession with Drew's death. They didn't seem that close of friends. Maybe I missed it, lol.

I must say I was very pleased with book 2, and thought Daniel did a pretty good job, as sequels can be iffy.
I did read this very quickly as it was hard to put down, each chapter I finished left you wanting more. Very addicting so be prepared!

I did enjoy the different POVs throughout the book. This story didn't have any big twists, which is fine as it didn't really need one. I'm hoping Daniel does one more book as I would love to see what happens with Fern and Alice's relationship going forward.
