“The Teacher” by Freida McFadden is a gripping psychological thriller that plunges readers into a web of twisted secrets and lies.
Addie, a student at the center of a teacher-student scandal, leaves Eve, her math teacher, questioning the truth behind the scandal and Addie's role in it, siding with her ex-coworker. Nate, Addie's english teacher and Eve's husband sees Addie in a different light.
Addie, is a character shrouded in mystery. Freida does an amazing job crafting her as an enigmatic figure, leaving readers questioning her true intentions and the extent of her involvement in the scandal. The constant uncertainty surrounding Addie's character adds an element of suspense and intrigue to the story, keeping readers on the edge of their seats. Is Addie a victim or a master manipulator?
As with all of Frieda's books, I devoured it in one sitting!! This story was a rollercoaster ride of suspense, with unexpected revelations. Freida's ability to maintain a sense of intrigue and unpredictability is commendable, making this a truly engaging read.

As usual there's an intriguing plot, interesting characters & imaginative settings. Also, can't forget, twists galore.
The story just flows off the page and suddenly it's over and you're left questioning the characters, questioning your morals, questioning the day of the week and if you have an adequate amount of shoes...
Just read it. Go on, it's time. You won't regret it.
