Willow's Flame
Willow meets the charming Brock at a book club, and the two of them hit it off immediately.
There is just one little problem. Willow is a married woman and Brock doesn't exactly want to share her with anyone else. Willow isn't the only one bearing secrets, though. Just weeks after marrying Neil, his sinister side begins to surface and so does his hidden past. As tensions rise between the two men vying for her affections, Willow suddenly goes missing, prompting Chief Phil to take charge of the investigation and ignite a thrilling hunt to find her. The story is crafted from multiple perspectives: Willow, Neil, Brock, and even the kooky old lady next door-Pauleen-who pops too many pills and has an unhealthy fixation on Willow. Where, oh where is poor, sweet Willow?

I thoroughly enjoyed Willow's Flame, and it was one of my favs of 2022.
Willows Flame is a gripping and suspenseful tale that revolves around Willow, a young woman who begins to question her seemingly perfect life with her husband, Neil. As his secrets start to unravel, Willow finds herself pulling away from Neil and entangled in a passionate affair with Brock (a book club buddy).
Stephanie skillfully weaves a web of intrigue and suspense as the characters' secrets gradually come to light. The story is filled with unexpected twists and turns, keeping readers on the edge of their seats. It is sure to keep readers entertained and guessing until the final page.

I had this on my tbr for quite sometime and just hadn’t got around to it. After seeing it getting some negative attention and bullying and one star reviews by people who never read the book I moved it up my tbr and so glad I did. Truly enjoyed the different pov’s, short chapters and all the disturbing drama!! Should have read it sooner. Truly enjoyed it and recommend it to all thriller readers.

This is a gripping masterpiece in the realm of psychological thrillers. With its intense and fast-paced narrative, readers are immersed into a world of suspense and intrigue, masterfully weaving multiple perspectives to keep you guessing until the final page. A true page-turner that deserves every bit of its five-star rating!

I enjoy multiple-character POV stories. The start was a little rocky for me, but once I got used to the writer’s style and the characters took shape, I felt invested in the story by 20% in.
Told from the alternating perspectives of Willow, a young and beautiful 24-year-old lady with a love of reading and a dysfunctional past; her husband, Neil; her lover, Brock; and her nosey neighbour, Pauleen. Each man wants her all to himself, but what does Willow want?
Some elements of the story didn’t require multiple perspectives, but the chapters are short, and the story moves forward at a fast pace.
The main characters were well-developed, with Fields giving the reader a wonderful insight into their individual psyches. Each character had relatable traits that evoked empathy, and at other times, you loved to hate. I enjoyed the build-up and wondering which way the story would go.
