I love that the beginning of the book provides an index of the races and forms of dragons and mystical things. The dream walking aspect was unique and the cliffhanger was predictable but the overall arching plot was so good and sets book 2 up perfectly.
I loved Tia, the warrior FMC who is subjected to the trials that the dragons of old endured. As we follow her story, we get the MMC Zad and his dragon who is summoned to the trials as well. The emotional conflicts and the tension had me biting my pillow.
A great debut from Catalina and I can't wait for book 2 to drop on April 15th!
