Gilbert Garfinkle what a name it leaps out to you screaming geek, nerd etc. and that is exactly what Gibert is. He loves nothing more than inventing things. His mother hates him which is sad really, how can you hate your own son.
He is 17 but looks 12 and he has dreams to complete university and fixing the world. In comes Amber who changes his life completely.
Gilbert has no clue when it comes to girls, or stalkers for that matter. Gilbert makes me laugh as he is a funny guy being a geek vampire is even more laughable but he has a good heart and when push comes to shove he understands what must be done and he does it.
I thought this was a fantastic read, it was funny, very well written and I will definitely be looking out for more books about Gilbert the Fixer in the future.
