I found myself getting bored with this one. Definitely did not live up to the love I had for book one!

After saving her from a fuck up, Lark hates her masked fixer. Suddenly, she’s kissing him, until he says something familiar. Hate is strong but to save her best friend, her family and their business, she needs to marry him. Enemies to friends to lovers/killers.
Another piece of murderous marvel. Weaver’s talent for mixing drama, comedy, murder and love is just poetic.
The initial meeting, the extreme turn then another, then another and more revelations on every page, fucking Christ Jesus, it’s good.
