Of Fates & Ruin (Kingdom of Shattered Vows, #1)

I really enjoyed this book. The characters are relatable. The story is good and goes at a nice pace. I really enjoyed the bonded animals and the unique variety to them. I loved how it's not just young people, like in other series, it's anyone with magic who wants to enter the trials.
Trewyn and Izzy have good chemistry and I enjoy the banter. It does end on a cliffhanger that left me frustrated! But, I can not wait to read the next book!
