This one had such an interesting premise — a priestess of life and a knight of death forced together by fate? Yes, please. The setup promised an epic fantasy adventure full of magic, danger, and maybe even a touch of romance.
While the world-building had potential and a few moments really stood out, I struggled to stay fully invested. The pacing felt uneven, and some of the emotional beats that should've hit hard didn't quite land for me. Still, I appreciated the unique concept and the tension between the two main characters — it just didn't completely capture that spark I was hoping for.
A solid read for fans of classic fantasy quests with light romantic undertones, but it didn't quite reach the level of "can't put it down" for me.
