Definitely I Know what you did last summer vibes, with unseen plot twist. Loved that I didn't have it figured out by the reveal.

"Love The Way You Kiss Me" presents itself as a romance novel, but unfortunately, it falls short in several areas. The characters lack depth, coming off as flat and one-dimensional, which makes it difficult to connect with their stories. I listened to the audio version, and the narration didn’t help; it felt just as uninspired as the characters themselves.
There were moments in the narrative that were confusing and hard to follow, leaving me uncertain about the direction of the story. Additionally, the pacing was off, especially towards the end, where things escalated quickly and left the resolution feeling rushed. Overall, while the premise had potential, the execution left much to be desired.

Devoured this book. Picked it up last night and refused to put it down.
I love Lo Gold and KT Maddan on their own but when they get together it’s a beautiful, twisted chaos that feeds my dark soul.
Christian is the sweet, innocent but troubled love interest of a Sleep Demon named Kallum. Working in a bookstore with his friend Kaleb by day and being pleasured in the filthiest of ways in his dreams, Christian’s life is average. However, when a homophobic bully refuses to leave him alone, everything changes.
The character description and they way their relationship evolves from fear to need made me kick my feet. Kallum calling Christian “my human” and watching him from the shadows 24/7 to keep him safe is everything you want in a relationship, even if he is a giant, purple demon shadow monster.
The spice is spot on. This is my first MM romance, I have read MM scenes in other books but there is always a female involved in their relationship somewhere, and I can safely say it was hot af, if not hotter than some of my previous reads.
There is a lot of spicy scenes in this short book from the very start, but they do not take away from the story, they add to the pure want and need for the characters to be with each other always.
Now, I thought I knew what was going on, I thought I knew where the book was going and how it would end but JESUS FUCK ME CHRIST, was I wrong! The twist in this book is bloody brilliant; I did not expect it or even have a slight guess it was where we would end up.
Wondering now if it has any links into a certain other recent book from KT Maddan and also if they will continue with the story, as I am very intrigued to carry on.
