Okay… this Carnivale is definitely not somewhere you go for a fun night out. 😂🎪
Dark, twisted, disturbing, and completely unhinged, The Colony Carnivale delivers exactly the kind of depravity its premise promises. The atmosphere was my favorite part. Beneath the blood-red lights, warped music, and painted smiles, there’s a constant sense that something is seriously wrong. Every tent seems to conceal another nightmare, every performance feels like a warning, and the deeper you go, the more the Carnivale seems to close in.
Judy and Gid are seriously messed up, while the mysterious clown lurking at the edges adds another layer of unease. Her appearances feel like glimpses through the fog—brief, unsettling, and impossible to ignore. I was definitely curious to see where that storyline would lead.
This is extreme horror, so it won’t be for everyone. Between the violence, disturbing imagery, and twisted characters, there were plenty of moments when I thought, welp… we’re really going there. 😂 The tension keeps building beneath the spectacle, making it feel less like you’re watching the show and more like the show is watching you.
It wasn’t quite a 5-star read for me, but it was certainly memorable.
4 stars for one seriously deranged trip to The Colony Carnivale. 🎪🩸
Just remember… once you buy that ticket, you might not be getting back out. 👀
