Callie's friends being the voices of reason for her to relinquish the past and enjoy the new beginning was a welcome punch of wisdom. Especially since Callie seemed truly torn by the decision. And Macon is a gentleman who came in with the correct approach; a good change in what we sometimes see in romance stories
