Whew this book!!

Samara is a god damn POWERHOUSE of a leader. Smart, strategic, strong etc. Doing her duty she had been set to marry since she was a teenager to another house’s high rank to join their houses together.

Upon discovering that her husband has been cheating, she point blank waked in on him cheating on her and showing his latest fling way more passion beneath the sheets than he had ever shown her and finding out that he viewed their marriage as a loveless power move and he believed that she was aware he was sleeping with multiple other people the whole time she leaves. As you should girl!

Samara goes back home where she is welcomed back with loving arms and is set on eventually taking over her own house in the future. The divorce is set with surprisingly no fight from her husband’s house.

In her post divorce glow up she is finding why have shame in taking on more than one lover as she re-finds herself.

It is a great way to introduce yourself in why-choose romance!
