Helping Hana

When Hana and her older sister Larissa fled from Belize to escape detection after their mother's murder, they thought they were safe when they crossed the border with a large group of shifters, but chaos descended far too soon. Attacked, one of their number kidnapped, Hana was shot, and her shift forced to save the nine-year-old child's life. Out of control from fear due to her forced shift, she did not mean to bite and turn Alex Fugate when he and his brother were visiting the carnival. Now Alex and his brother West have to make a new home in Blood Moon, with a carnival of shifters and Hana's older sister, Larissa, who is very anxious to make Alex's transition as happy as possible. Meanwhile, Hana has to adjust to shifting backwards, while another visit from the Dragon Queen throws life into turmoil in Blood Moon.
