Wow! What a read. There is so much going on within this book. It's so well crafted I could see each character and setting. Every. Single. Word matters. The story builds gradually. The author takes you on a journey into Bostonian society, the great houses and their alliances; the poor and also those with pyschic abilities. A real page turner that heats up in the middle making you not want to put it down. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
