Noetic Marj Odyssey

Marjorie Glass is in danger. She has a special gift that a nefarious organization wants to use, and will do whatever it takes to possess it and her.

In 2039, eleven-year-old Marj had an accident that triggered something unimaginable within her: she could suddenly communicate with her deceased great-great-grandfather, who was once an ace pilot and war hero.

Now six years later, in a world impacted by catastrophic global warming and increased crime, Marj dreams of following in her great-great-grandfather’s footsteps to become a pilot, and hopefully beyond—on a mission to Mars! Unfortunately, while working towards her goal, she unwittingly becomes a person of interest to an unsanctioned super soldier program. Marj is not keen on the idea of becoming a puppet to the program’s cold-hearted commander, nor of his scientist’s unorthodox method to augment her special ability.

So, a very capable young Marj ends up on the run, only to find much-needed collaborators in unexpected places. But how can she know for sure that they don’t just want her for her power too?

Comprised of three novellas driven by emerging technology and spooky science, Noetic Marj Odyssey is a young woman’s adventurous, and often perilous, life journey. While losing family and friendships to forging new ones, Marj must also contend with corrupt forces on Earth and ultimately faces unexpected challenges on Mars—all of which will forever change her life.
