Women of the South
Ni-Han is an exceptional young woman with special powers who lives with her parents in a small village on the southern continent. At the outbreak of war, Ni-Han's parents are murdered right in front of her by a rival tribe, while she is taken captive. In captivity, Ni-Han meets four other young women whose cruel fate has brought them together. Their shared, unfortunate destiny builds an enduring friendship that undergoes upheavals and hardships against the background of the war and their later romantic liaisons. The five friends, led by Ni-Han, escape and embark on an epic journey across the continent that will take them to safety. During their travels, Ni-Han finds out that a particularly cruel enemy is pursuing her personally, the Singato, the leader of the Leon, whose malicious powers allow him to enter her mind and inner world. Ni-Han will soon discover hidden abilities within her, be exposed to family secrets from the past, fall in love with the handsome Leo and have to decide whether to trust him and devote herself to their relationship. During the arduous trek of the women and their male friends, Ni-Han meets a mentor who trains her in previously unimaginable energetic ways of dealing with so-called external "reality."The novel is a story of courage, friendship, loss, love, and the will to survive.
