Haunted By Obsession

Haunted by Obsession was a good, quick read that kept me intrigued because of the short chapters and strong characters. Marcelline is an absolute girl boss, creating her beauty brand from scratch and growing it into a force to be reckoned with. Her business rival and love interest, Riven, is the CEO of the top company in the world, ruthless in his business approach.

They have run ins due to being in the industry but during one of his parties, things shift and thus begins Riven's obsession and where we get the title. I liked the push-and-pull dynamic between the characters but the relationship seemed rushed at times.

I'll reread this book in the future when I want vicariously live through Marcelline and deal with a protective, possessive man
