The Naughty List

Twas the night before Justice, when all through the house,
Not a creature was stirring, not even the louts.
They lay in bed sleeping, they had not a care,
About the people, they’d hurt or treated unfair.

They had no way of knowing their deeds had been tracked.
Not by blogs, or the news, but a crazed maniac.
He sat jotting names, being careful not to miss
Any transgressors to place on the naughty list.
