Moore Than a Feeling
"Holly and Aiden broke up? Seriously? No way. Not those two." Dumped. No, not only dumped. Blindsided and dumped. I thought that Aiden McManus was my forever, my soulmate, That was until he told me he was still in love with his ex. I didn't want to believe him. So, I convinced myself that our break-up was because of his upcoming deployment, and not because he didn't love me. Believing that, helped me get through those first months. But after a while, I realized I just might be lying to myself. And it was time to move on... So, I moved on. Or tried to move on, anyway. But that didn't work out so well for me, either. And it practically got me disowned from my family. After that, I finally started to get my life back together, I had everything back under control... ...Or so I thought. Until I found out Aiden was back. And now he's everywhere I turn. Still pushing me away. Telling me he doesn't want me. But every time he calls me Angel or reaches out to touch my cheek, I know what he's not admitting to himself - He still loves me. And I'm going to prove it to him. This is a standalone companion novel.

I have not read anything by Julie A. Richman before and I thought I may get a little lost a I hadn’t read the Needing Moore series but this is a spin off from that series and can be read as standalone books too.
This book is primarily about Holly Moore and Aiden McManus, who had a relationship previously but Aiden was about to be sent on tour and although he loved her, he knew that he may get messed up while away and didn’t want her to wait for him, he didn’t want to mess up her life too, he was protecting her basically.
As it turns out Aiden was hurt both mentally and physically during this time and when he eventually comes back to Fire Island he is a fraction of the man he was and when Holly sees him he pushes her away, can they eventually come back together? well you will have to read the book.
I found this a really easy book to get into, it was written well and the story was great, there was a lot of head smacking going on, and my inner voice telling them to sort it out as you could feel the attraction and connection between them.
I loved how all the other characters all played an important role in the book too, Holly’s father Schooner and Mia in particular.
All in all it was a fantastic book and it has made me want to read the Needing Moore series now, which I already have on my Kindle awaiting me.
I would definitely recommend it.
