Sorrow Flaw Hotel (Dead Manor, #2)

The second book in the Dead Manor series follows Detective Darren Clovis after he successfully helped out on "solving" the cold case Andromeda Killings as he settles into family life with his wife Clara and his newborn son Jackson. As Darren adjusts to being a father, he is drawn back into the case despite his reluctance and his promises to his wife. This book delves deeper into Darren and Clara and has intense character development of both of these characters as well as a LT. I found the writing to be crisp and flowed easily between the pages. I was immersed in the story, trying to follow along with the clues and although I was suspicious right away of one of the characters, I still can’t figure out exactly how he/she plays into this whole ordeal! I guess Book 3 will answer my questions! If you like an immersive story that is unusual, suspenseful and a plot that you won’t be able to figure out, I highly recommend giving this series a read!
