I'm still shaking hours after reading this. The Mancaruso sisters crafted such a fun thriller that it was hard to accept that the book had ended.
The story follows iconic pop star Harlow Hayes who dominates pop culture like it's nothing. Until the day that she's accused of murder and her life turns upside down. I loved the TMZ-like moments with the gossip and whole atmosphere that gives early 2000s.
Naomi Barnes enters as the journalist determined to solve the case, making connections through carefully combing through Harlow's lyrics. The interesting part was that Naomi is grieving at the same time and the connections between the characters was jawdropping.
The endings was disappointing because there was a buildup to the mystery being solved and then a massive drop, almost as if falling from a cliff and plunging into the dark of the ocean. I was left wishing that the book had an alternate ending.
If you like thrillers and pop culture tidbits, pick up Rumoured and prepare for the dark side of fame.

I'd say this is a good popcorn style thriller, several twists and turns, bits were a little far fetched, but that's what I love about books!
If you enjoy a murder mystery and pop star scandal, then this would be a good one for you.
