This is book one of The Crown of Ash series. It’s a short read that almost feels more like a prequel. This book tells us the back story and motivation behind the characters and their roles in the story. Great start to the series. It pulled me in from beginning to end and held my attention. The world building is detailed and imaginative. This book has strong characters and an interesting story line that keeps you turning the pages. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ARC Review
This book had a really intriguing premise with a dark, magical world that immediately caught my interest. The prophecy, the blood-moon mythology, and the unique twist on vampire lore were all strong elements with a lot of potential.
Unfortunately, it just didn’t hold my attention the way I hoped. There were moments that pulled me in, but overall the pacing and flow didn’t fully keep me engaged throughout the story. That said, the writing itself was solid, and the concept is definitely creative and original.
A good read with great ideas — just not quite gripping enough for me personally. Four stars
