Moss and Mirrors by Nicole M. King
Still feel like I am processing this. It was such an experience. Not in just the story but the writing too. I felt like it really puts you into the mind of both of the POV’s. I did have a hard time in the beginning getting into the writing just personal preference but eventually it captured me and I was invested.
Thank you to the author and @booksandbloompr for the eARC of this book.
I would say the halfway point was when it really amped up for me. I was trying to unravel the mystery and understand what was happening. Quinn was recognizing things and slowly my eyes were opening as hers was. It was such an interesting experience.
It definitely had that uneasy feeling throughout the book. I felt so unsettled especially during Quinn’s POV. I could tell something was up but I could not pinpoint it. Even now I feel like maybe I could have missed something. I really did enjoy the dual POV and getting a look into both of these characters. I liked that we even got a little found family with the girls kind of banding together there a little. Overall an eerie and unsettling read with a lot of psychological tension and slow unraveling.
