I love messy romances. The kind where the characters make bad choices, fall too hard, and don’t come out clean on the other side. Give me a morally gray love interest and a story that leaves a little bruise on my heart and I’m happy. I read for tension and longing and that can’t-look-away chemistry. If there’s betrayal, redemption, found family, or two people trying to build something out of the wreckage, I’m in. I’m a late-night reader and I highlight lines that hit a little too close to home.
