Thank you to Nicole M. King and bookandbloompr for having me on the ARC team!
Moss and Mirrors is a slow-burn psychological thriller. The setting and the novel's concept are both deeply eerie. πͺ΅β¨
The story follows Quinn, who is rescued after 15 years of captivity in a cult and placed in a group home with other women in peaceful Louisiana. The home is regularly visited by a psychiatrist, leaving the reader to wonder: did she really escape captivity, or did she just escape one cult only to land in another? π₯π² The narrative is told from a dual perspective, diving deep into Quinnβs mind after her escape.
If you love a psychological thriller or a slow-burn thriller, this one is for you. The ending left me with a lot of questions. π
