this was a slow burn book and the author states that from the beginning but it was too slow for me. There was no action or suspense. Some may say it was more of a psychological thriller but I didn't even feel that. I was expecting more to the plot and a big twist which never came. I found that psychological suspense books are not my thing. Unfortunately, this was a miss for me but if you're okay with a slow read, then give it a try! You may have a different perspective than my interpretation.
