I was a little nervous at the beginning because the sentence structure and writing style felt different than what I’m used to, and I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about the book. But as I kept reading, things slowly started coming together and I found myself getting more invested. It definitely kept me on my toes, and the eerie atmosphere added so much to the story. Definitely a slow-burn suspense that had me questioning what was really going on!
