Greek Mythology Murder
The book Now Run (A Brynn Justice FBI Suspense Thriller) by Kate Bold was a wonderful mix of Greek Mythology and murder. This book is part of a series so you can continue to follow Agent Brynn Justice on a new case. I’m definitely looking forward to all the books in this series. The book was fast paced and easy to digest. The story starts off with two FBI agents working together to find two kidnapped college students. This book brings out so many different emotions like sadness, anger, frustration, gratefulness, and success. I would recommend this book to everyone and I rate it a 5 out of 5!

One Among Us
The grim reality of child sex trafficking is brought to life in this story. The story also has abduction, abuse, prostitution and death. The life the victims of sex trafficking have to live becomes vividly clear by the details this story depicts. The little girl goes through horrific situations to escape the world she was forced into but at the end is a strong willed woman who can do anything.

Freida McFadden delivers another dark, fast-paced psychological thriller that sinks its hooks in early and doesn’t let go. “The Locked Door” centers on Nora Davis, a woman forever marked by a horrifying childhood secret—her father was a serial killer—and the life she’s carefully constructed to escape that truth.
Nora is a compelling protagonist: controlled, distant, and constantly battling the fear that evil might be inherited. McFadden excels at building tension through Nora’s inner turmoil while layering in a chilling mystery that blurs the line between past and present. When murders resurface with her father’s unmistakable signature, the suspense ratchets up, and paranoia seeps into every page.
The pacing is sharp, the chapters are addictive, and the twists arrive just when you think you have things figured out—only to pull the rug out from under you. McFadden plays expertly with themes of identity, nature versus nurture, and how far someone will go to protect the life they’ve built.
The Locked Door is unsettling, clever, and perfect for readers who love psychological thrillers packed with secrets, unreliable perceptions, and jaw-dropping revelations. Just don’t get too comfortable—some doors are locked for very good reasons.
