Moss and Mirrors by Nicole M. King is a fascinating book. I have given it 4 out of 5 stars mainly as it is a very slow burn book and not as exciting as some I have read.

Having said that, it gripped me and I wanted to know what was going to happen. The main character, Gabe, rescues people from within cults and places them in a shared house where he counsels them, one-on-one to deprogram them.

The way Nicole M. King writes is unusual and quite unique. Memories in real life come in fragments and this is how the story is revealed, not in a linear narrative. This is quite fascinating.

The ending did leave me with a lot of questions but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Moss & Mirrors was not my favourite book but a jolly good read.
